I wrote earlier about how I go on walks in blogophere’s earlier…I don’t trespass with the intention of poaching. But for once I have conveniently ‘borrowed’ a tag game from there… I found this in Neha Vishwanathan’s blog. It is intended for Bookworms…like me.
I have mailed to Neha that I am using this idea in my blogsite… I hope there are no problems.
This is a very easy exercise. The rules are very simple. All you have to do is:
Pick up the nearest book.
Open to page 123.
Find the fifth sentence.
Post the next three sentences.
Tag seven people, and acknowledge the person who tagged you . Add the rules.
I did that out of sheer curiosity. I just turned around and found the book I am reading at the moment on my bedside table. It is a book I picked up from the W.H. Smith outlet at the Birmingham Airport. The Sound of Laughter by Peter Kay. Have just started it and I find every page hilarious… It has won an award for Best Biography at the British Book Awards
So I picked up the book and without disturbing my bookmark, turned to page 123. I found the fifth sentence. The next 3 sentences are:
“ Then, as if that wasn’t bad enough, one day a German shepherd came into my life. It was an ordinary afternoon just like any other. We were playing football in the park,I was in goal as usual, when from out of nowhere a German shepherd appeared and mounted me from behind.”
Now if I have roused your curiosity I don’t intend to help you…. Get a copy of the book yourself…
Okay. Now the tagging business. I would love to tag more than 7 people but that spoils the game. Let everyone get their chance… So at a random selection, I tag:
Ushasuryamani
Enchanted world
Shobhana sundar
Ranjini sharma
Usha M
Muthu sundarrajan
Balajee
Readers.... Please feel free to participate... Only remember to include the rules in your posts...I should have titled this Bookworms' Melee !!!
See you all!
